The Leprechaun is the most common children’s costume to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. You will find great costumes in this department for boys or for girls. Some of them are scary and others are fun. You may want to take the age of your child into consideration.

To get your children more involved with St. Patrick’s Day, you can offer activities for them to take part in throughout the day. They can help with making food that is going to be used for a party. You can have a treasure hunt for children too. Create some clues on a map for them that shows where the Leprechaun has left the pot of gold. This can be in the form of gold candy coins or some other treat. Make sure you have enough for all of the children at the event to get some once that pot of gold is found.

You can make the difficulty involved with kids activities fit the different age groups. You may need to get the help of several parents in order to make this work. That way you don’t have younger children that can’t take part in the fun. You also don’t have older children that aren’t having a good time.
